The console is the staff workspace for running client accounts day to day. Use it to see what needs attention, work through each client, and preview exactly what clients see.
Console layout#
The dark sidebar header shows Medical3 with Console beneath it. It lists Today, Clients, Workspaces, Pipeline, Money, Analytics, Leads and Docs, which opens the staff runbooks, with a link to these guides. Administrators also see Admin below a divider; see Admin.
At the bottom of the sidebar you find:
- View customer view, which previews a client's dashboard.
- Your name and role badge (Ops or Administrator).
- Settings, for your own profile, password and language.
- Log out.
The top bar shows the page title, the ⌘K button, the ? help button and your role badge. The ? menu replays the tour, brings back Getting started, and opens the guide for the page you are on (Documentation) or the staff runbooks (Runbooks) in a new tab; see Getting started. On admin pages the title reads "Admin / {section}". On a phone or narrow window, a menu button opens the sidebar as a drawer.
Command palette#
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) or select the ⌘K button. Type in the box that says Search clients, opportunities, or jump to a page…
Results come in four groups:
| Group | What it does |
|---|---|
| Clients | Opens that client. |
| Opportunities | Opens the opportunity drawer. |
| Navigate | Jumps to a console page. |
| Actions | A Log activity shortcut for the best-matching opportunity, labelled Log activity · {opportunity id}. |
Use the up and down arrows to select, Enter to open, and Esc to close. Administrators also get admin pages and a Search users for shortcut.
Today#
Today is your starting point. It lists the clients and deals that need you first, with overdue and stuck items sorted to the top.
Pulse strip
Three numbers sit above the list:
- Weighted pipeline: open opportunity value weighted by close probability.
- Cash: money invoiced and unpaid, with "of which {amount} overdue" underneath.
- Won this month: deals won, compared with last month.
Worklist
Each row has a Subject and an Action needed. Deal rows open the opportunity drawer; client rows open the client. The density toggle switches between Compact and Comfortable. It is one ranked list, and each row carries a chip showing why it is listed:
| Chip | What to do |
|---|---|
| Overdue — our steps (red) | A Medical3 next step is late. Do it, or move its due date. |
| Overdue — client steps (red) | A step owned by the client is late. Follow up with the client. |
| Due today, Due soon (amber) | Steps coming due. Plan them into your day. |
| Stuck deals | A deal has a recorded stuck point. Clear the blocker or update the note. |
| Stale opportunities | No recent activity. Log a call or note, or change the status. |
| Unbilled triggered milestones | A milestone is triggered but not yet invoiced, and Action needed reads Ready to invoice. An administrator drafts the invoice; see Money. |
| Expiring contracts | Open the client and check the renewal. |
| Reviews due | Open the client and update its Health tab. |
When nothing needs you, Today shows All clear.
Clients#
Clients lists every client, sorted by how urgently they need attention. Select one to open its page. The header shows contract, payment, risk and renewal probability, plus an In negotiation tag for clients not yet signed. It also links to View in global pipeline and View customer view.
The client page has six tabs.
Health
Edit these fields in place: Risk (Low, Medium or High), Risk note, Renewal probability, Next review and Payment (Paid, Invoiced, Overdue or Upcoming). To record a touchpoint, use Log activity: choose a Kind (Call, Email, Meeting, Note or Reply), write a Summary, set the Date, and select Log.
Pipeline
Shows only this client's opportunities. Details are in Pipeline.
Readiness
Tracks market-entry preparation for seven areas: Registration, Materials, Quotation, Demo conditions, Samples, Training and After-sales. Each has a status (Ready, In progress, Blocked or Missing), an owner, a due date and a note. Select Edit, make changes, then Save. Clients see this as their readiness list.
Weekly
The Weekly studio prepares the briefing clients read. Pick This week or Next week, then fill in what Medical3 did, what comes next, and the Needed from you requests. Each request has a kind (Materials, Authorization, Samples or Technical staff), a due date and a status (Pending, Received or Overdue).
- Select Generate draft to pre-fill the week from its records. The draft is AI-assisted or template-based, so always read it.
- Edit the text and requests.
- Select Save draft.
- Select Publish, then Confirm publish.
Important: Once published, the client sees this week's content immediately and you cannot take it back. Publish is only available after you have saved a draft.
Money
Shows Commercial milestones & fees for this client. Administrators create milestones and invoices here; Ops see the status only. The full flow is in Money.
Activity
Recent activity lists what has been logged. Below it, the Market feedback form records what buyers said: choose a Kind, write the Feedback, set Occurred on, optionally pick a Buyer, and select Submit. Clients see this under Market insight.
Customer view#
Select View customer view in the sidebar, then choose a client. You see that client's dashboard exactly as they do, including hidden buyer names. A banner reminds you it is a preview. Select Back to console to return. The same preview is available from any client's header.
